Clinical Trials Office Study Management Lead

Huntsman Cancer Institute (HCI), one of the world's leading cancer centers and member of the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN), seeks a dynamic manager with a strong Clinical Trials background to join our team.

This challenging role requires the application of your clinical research management experience to support Principal Investigators (PI's) and study management staff with centralized protocol development, initiation, and management. Will ensure study management staff are providing quality data to sponsors and protocol management compliance (subject screening/consenting/enrollment, data management, specimen processing, etc.) with institutional, state, and federal regulations . Will provide personnel management and training (initial and on-going) and oversee administrative, financial, and technical functions within the Huntsman Cancer Institute's Clinical Trials Office.

Additional management duties include organizing and assigning duties to employees; assisting study management staff with preparing clinical research reports; ensuring monitoring/auditing reports and outstanding issues are identified, addressed, and resolved within appropriate time frames; assisting personnel with Multidisciplinary Disease Group Research in Progress Meetings, and a variety of other duties.

Essential qualifications include four years of clinical research experience, a related Bachelor’s degree, and experience coordinating, monitoring, and auditing oncology trials and managing and training staff that coordinate oncology trials. National certification, (SoCRA or ACRP), industry experience (work experience w/pharmaceutical companies), and a related graduate degree are preferred.
